Chiquita

Hi, this is Kelsey Trevethan. 

I just wanted to give all of you an update at UPAWS on how things have been going since we adopted our much loved kitty a year ago.

Chloe or “Chiquita” as you all named her, is a purring machine! She is constantly looking for pets. 

She loves to come and sleep by me at night, it makes me feel just as warm and happy to know she loves and trusts me to do that. We adopted a kitten later on with her, her name is Paris. So, Chloe and Paris have become best friends, always chasing one another around the house, sleeping together and mimicking each other’s movements and ways around the house. Chloe kind of took into mothering Paris when we got her, it was cute to see considering what happened to her own babies. Chloe loves to be in the window, she makes a great model kitty. Always making sure that we’re protected and no danger around. 

She doesn’t really “meow” though, she more, whines/cries. But we’re being patient to hear. She has a vet appointment on the 30th to get her updated shots and general check up. She loves to be brushed, so I have been making it a point to brush her every night or every other night. Chloe follows me around the house literally everywhere I go, even if it’s to the bathroom. We love our Chloe, she’s still a little shy, especially around new people, but she certainly has come out a lot more than we expected her to. We’re happy to have adopted her. so, thank you for letting us adopt our fur baby a year ago.
