About Acorn

Acorn is a 2-year-old, neutered, medium-sized mixed breed who brings pure joy into every moment. He is a staff favorite and has a happy, upbeat personality that shines through in everything he does.

Acorn arrived as a stray and did not come to us with any formal training, so he is still a bit rough around the edges. However, he has a wonderful temperament and a lot of potential. With positive reinforcement and consistency, he is going to grow into an incredible companion.

He would do well in a home that enjoys getting out and doing things together-walks, playtime, and being part of daily activities. Acorn is social and seems like he would enjoy having a dog friend, so we recommend bringing any resident dogs in for a meet and greet. His behavior with cats is currently unknown.

Acorn is the kind of dog who will truly thrive with a little guidance and structure. He is full of heart, eager to engage, and ready to build a strong bond with his new family.
