About Molly - Lonely Heart

Molly has been keeping a secret about how her life was before she came to Upaws. But we believe it wasn't easy as she came to Upaws as a hot mess: limping in pain, not liking being touched, and her emotions were all over the place.

She needed some time to heal, and as her body felt better, she started working very hard on herself. She has been working on handling frustration and excitement better; she learned not to get overexcited about other dogs walking or cars driving by. Nowadays, she barely cares! She learned things like drop it and leave it, sit down, wait, and more. She can even go on an agility course! For a morsel of food, she will try to do anything you teach her.

She likes to meet people, when she's relaxed she is in for a good snuggle from her friends, she loves a good hike with sniffs or playing tug. She loves her toys and enjoys chasing her kibble through the room or playing hide-and-seek games. She is smart and funny, sweet, but also a handful when she has her mind set on something.

This 4-year-old girl will likely never be a typical dog, so she is seeking a special home to provide her with the best life, filled with nothing but love. She likes things on her terms and can be quite bossy about it. So, she will need someone who can gently and patiently guide her with structure and consistency.

At this point, she prefers a home without other dogs, and please no cats. While she likes people of all ages, she would prefer a home without (or with respectful older children aged 12+ because she can be a lot.

Molly would like to meet her new people more than once, so both can get to know each other a little bit. She would also be open to going home for day visits and sleepovers first.
