About Johnny Cage

Hi, I'm Johnny Cage.

I'm looking for a special place to spend my days, full of love, toys, and plenty of snuggles. I ended up at the shelter through no fault of my own-my dad had to make a really hard decision when life threw some big challenges his way. He loved me very much, and I know he wanted the best for me.

Recently, I was diagnosed with cancer. I'm not sure how long my journey will be, but honestly? I'm too busy playing, partying, and soaking up affection to worry about that right now. I'm focused on the good stuff-like belly rubs, toys, and time with my people.

I absolutely love kids and enjoy learning new things. I even know a few tricks, like "shake"... although I'm still not totally sure what deal I just agreed to when I offer my paw.

Toys are one of my favorite things in the world-especially the fluffy squeaky kind. If it squeaks, I'm probably already in love with it.

When it comes to other dogs, I get along with a few and tend to prefer the ladies. I just like slow introductions so I can think things over first. Cats, though... they're a little too mysterious for me, so I'd rather pass on those.

My dad used to call me "goofy," and I wear that title proudly. I'm a loving, playful guy who enjoys car rides, making people laugh, and being part of the fun.

Right now, UPAWS is looking for a compassionate foster home for me-someone willing to give me love and comfort for the rest of my journey. A soft place to land where I can keep doing what I do best: playing with toys, going for rides, and sharing my goofy heart with someone special.
