Reduced Cost Spay/Neuter Surgeries Being Offered

Annual Spay Day USA 2017 has arrived! UPAWS is once again working with the local vet clinics to offer the service of low cost spays and neuters.

To aid in the efforts of ending animal homelessness and to offer a much needed service to low income pet owners, each area veterinary clinic has offered to perform a limited number of reduced cost spay/neuter surgeries.

To be eligible for the Spay Day USA event, you must be a resident of Marquette County and have a real financial need for help. Also this program is not intended for newly purchased puppies. Questions about eligibility, please call UPAWS.

The number of surgeries that will be performed at the reduced cost is limited and granted on a first come-first serve basis. Pet owners that need help will be required to sign up in person at the shelter and pay the fees before a surgery can be scheduled.

Please stop by or call the shelter at 906-475-6661 for more information.

A huge thank you to the Veterinary Clinics that make this service possible.
