Dog Foster Homes Needed

UPAWS is in need of a few fun loving and active foster homes! We currently have a number of dogs that have either been waiting for a new home for a few months or are stressed out in the kennel environment. They would really enjoy a foster home to give them a break from shelter life.

How does being a foster home work? Easy! You just sign up either directly at UPAWS or send in your application to info@upaws.org. Once approved we’ll match you up with a dog that will fit your lifestyle. Most, but not all, dogs are available to be placed into a foster home. UPAWS will cover the cost of all the medical needs, food and supplies. You just provide the home and the love! The dog in foster care will continue to be available for adoption to the public, but enjoy the comforts of your home.

Currently in desperate need of a foster home:

cleo

Cleo is a wonderfully active and  fun gal. She has been at UPAWS for a number of months and is having a hard time with the shelter environment.  She would love a foster home to get a break from shelter life. She would do wonderful in an active foster home that loves going for walks and hikes. She is a happy girl that will bring much fun and silliness to a home. Cleo is friendly to other dogs and would do well with an active and friendly dog (small dogs and older dogs might not be a good match for her energy).

Please call or email us anytime! We’d love to sign you up to foster one of these great dogs. 906-475-6661 or info@upaws.org
