UPAWS BENEFITS FROM UP200 DRYLAND DASH

For each entry in the UP200 Dryland Dash a $1 donation is set aside for the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter (UPAWS). It took a little longer than anticipated to get the check from our Dryland Dash partner, WI Trailblazers, into the paws of UPAWS. The delay, entirely on the UPSDA side of things, resulted from scheduling glitches between UPSDA President Darlene Walch and UPAWS. But finally, the $67 donation was presented to shelter supervisor Hayley Weston.
