About Porky Pig

Meet Porky Pig-named after the lovable cartoon character, although we think this big, handsome tabby looks much more majestic than silly!

Porky Pig arrived at UPAWS as a stray, so we don't know much about his life before coming to us. We soon realized, however, that he wasn't feeling well. Cats are very good at hiding discomfort, and this poor guy had a severe urinary tract infection along with bladder stones. Can you imagine how painful that must have been?

After treatment and a change to c/d urinary-care food-a very common diet enjoyed by many cats-Porky Pig is feeling so much better and is ready to find his home!

And what a great cat he is. Porky Pig is a big boy with an equally big heart. He loves to be loved, and he has plenty of love to give right back. Attention? Yes, please-and lots of it! He enjoys it so much that he may occasionally offer a little love nibble when you try to leave.

Porky Pig also enjoys his puzzle toys and puzzle feeder, which keep that handsome head of his active and entertained. Give him a good scratcher, something interesting to figure out, and plenty of affection, and he'll be one happy fellow.

After spending so much time in a shelter kennel, Porky Pig is more than ready for a home where he can stretch out, relax, play with his puzzles, and be his big, magnificent self.

Porky Pig is approximately five years old and has been neutered. He will need to continue eating his urinary-care diet, and he'll go home with a gift package of his food to help get his new family started.
