About Gary

Meet Gary. He's a beautiful black cat with golden eyes, and tonight he reminded us just how much joy this wonderful kitty still has to share. We put a little silver vine on a toy mouse, and Gary rolled around with it and had an absolute ball. Seeing him relax and play was such a lovely glimpse of who he is.

Gary spent much of his time hiding in a single room in his former home, where another dog had been added to a household that already had dogs. We want his next chapter to give him the comfort and room to come out of his shell at his own pace. He enjoys feather wands, sunny spots, and watching birds through the window, too.

Gary is a middle aged older guy, neutered, and front-declawed, so he needs to be an indoor-only cat. More than anything, he needs someone to give him a chance to feel safe and show his true personality. We think he's a wonderful kitty, and we can't wait for someone else to see it, too.
