Shoes for Shelters

DID YOU KNOW YOUR USED SHOES CAN HELP HOMELESS PETS?

We’re so excited to team up with WoofTrax and Funds2Orgs to help not only one, but 2 great causes! Homeless pets and small business owners in 26 developing nations around the world!

How it works is we collect gently used shoes (think of if you were going to give a pair of shoes to your best friend, that’s what we mean by gently used!) and Funds2Orgs picks them up from us for distribution to small business owners in 26 developing nations to use as inventory. UPAWS receives funds based on the number of shoes collected which will go directly to the care of Marquette County’s homeless pets!

Here is how you can help:

You can be a drop off location for the community! We’ll bring you flyers and a collection box and spread the word that you are a drop off location!

OR

You can take part in a friendly competition and make an even bigger impact by pledging to fill bags of a shoes! I’ll provide you with lots of flyers to hand out to people and keep a running tally on our website and Facebook of the participants.

This is a fund event for everyone, including businesses! We’ll pick up as often as necessary depending on how full your boxes get so that it doesn’t get in your way. The last day of collection will be on October 31st.
