Marquette County 4-H partnered with UPAWS to create an event to help kids get involved in giving back to the community.
“The kids gain knowledge about animals and safety and just being a pet owner,” said 4H Leader Amanda Cady, “They gain companionship from kids who have a common interest. They get to meet kids, and they are giving back to the community, which is always a good feeling.”
The Community Service Club meetings will be hosted every second Tuesday of each month from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at UPAWS. Ages 5-19 are invited, and it is free. To inquire, contact Amanda Cady at amandacady.media@gmail.com
