Enjoy NMU Hockey and Help UPAWS too!
The NMU/MTU hockey game on Saturday, March 5th is an opportunity to cheer on your NMU hockey team, and it’s a chance to help UPAWS too! We’re asking fans to bring a ‘wish list’ item with them to the game & our volunteers will be on hand to collect them & bring them to the shelter. ‘Wish List’ items are things the shelter needs every day: canned cat food, Kong toys, stuffed toys, cleaning supplies & Econo receipts.
During the game we’ll also be passing our donation canisters, so bring some spare cash & it will go to help our shelter pets.
Our UPAWS volunteers will be on hand with information about our shelter & we’ll have pictures of pets up for adoption. A big thank you to Downtown EyeCare for sponsoring the game for us again this year!
