November 2009 - Dempsey
Dempsey: Typically beagle that are middle age and not fixed have a harder time being adopted. Dempsey came to MCHS as a stray with just that description: 3 years old male not neutered, which would mean he would be a full price adoption. To help Dempsey have a better chance at being adopted sooner, the Deb's Dog Program sponsored his neuter and vaccines. This not only helped Dempsey with his medical care but it lowered the adoption rate which helps get our pets adopted sooner. Dempsey was helped by the Deb's Dog Program and adopted right away by caring kind folks.Dempsey's Original Story:
Dempsey is a gentle, friendly 3 year old male tri-colored beagle whoa arrived as a stray from the Ishpeming pound. He is a petite guy who appears to be fine with kids, all ages of people, and other dogs. We always ask that you bring your dog though to meet any potential dog you may be interested in to adopt, to make sure they can be buddies. Dempsey is a happy dog who just gets so gleeful to make friends with everyone! He is quick to learn commands and is working hard on his manners! He'd love to have more training and have a job to do! Dempsey just wants to please and make you proud of him. He is a Meet Your Match orange "Wallflower"! Do you need someone to play or go for walks with? Dempsey is your boy! He loves to play, snuggle and sure enjoys a good walk or hike too! Dempsey is a friendly, sweet little dog who will make a super "Best Friend" for most any home! Come and meet this lover doll today!
